Grow BlueberriesOne of our favorite services that we offer here at Autumn Hill Nursery are our gardening workshops and events. We have a staff full of knoledgeable gardeners that love to share their experience to help you become a master gardener yourself. We also work hard to bring in teachers and gardeners that can share their expert advice with you. This weekend, we are hosting three events that will help you get your edible garden growing strong this spring and summer.

Edibles: Getting Your Garden Started

To kick off a weekend of delicious, home grown veggies, we start from the beginning. We’ll discuss how to get your seeds started and grow them in containers, raised beds, and potato sacks so that no matter how much or how little space you have, you’ll always be able to grow. This workshop will be at our Canton, GA location at 11 am.

Tower Garden Growing

Have you been looking to grow your own veggies, but you’re very limited on space? Tower Gardens allow you to grow up to 40 plans in only 2.5 square feet of space. It requires only limited watering, zero soil, and zero chemicals. Learn more about how Tower Gardens can bring delicious foods to your table using the science of aeroponics. Join us at 12:30 pm in Canton for this great seminar.

Everything You Need to Know to Grow Blueberries, Raspberries and Blackberries

Fruit is delicious – but it’s expensive! What if you knew how to grow your favorite berries, right in your own back yard? Learn how at this workshop! You’ll reduce your grocery bill, and have fresh cobblers and toppings for fruit and ice cream by summer time! We’d love to see you here on Sunday, at 2 pm in Hickory Flat.

Is there something that you have a question about? Let us know, and we’ll add it to our list of workshops! To RSVP to each of these events, just go to our events and workshops page. We’ll see you this weekend!
