Recipes for Garden Vegetables

  1. cooking from the vegetable gardenVegetable medley. It may seem like the obvious side dish (well, after fresh salad), but nothing beats fresh, flavorful veggies in a hearty marinade. Toss olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and fresh herbs together with your favorite vegetables. We recommend zucchini, summer squash, and peppers to start.
  2. Pizza Margherita. Snip basil, oregano, and parsley from your Italian herb garden, pick a few fresh tomatoes from the veggie garden, and put it all together with creamy mozzarella and fresh-made pizza dough.
  3. Pasta Primavera. Saute your favorite veggies (peppers and zucchini are surefire winners!), toss in a few fresh tomatoes, and add your favorite garden-fresh herbs. Toss together with parmesan and pasta, and voila! An instant summer classic.
  4. Fresh cocktails. Not sure what to do with last year’s cocktail garden? Serve adult drinks (or their non-alcoholic counterparts) the next time you entertain. Mint, lavender, and lime all adds freshness to a variety of delectable drinks. Simply snip, mix, and serve!
  5. Vegetarian spring rolls. In need of a last-minute appetizer? Chop up carrots, cilantro, and peppers and toss them together with your favorite Asian-inspired sauce. Wrap them up in lettuce, cabbage, or kale leaves for a hands on appetizer that’s as tasty as it is effortless.
