Contrubutions to Our Community

Over the years we have supported hundreds of school, church, Eagle Scout, park, and community projects, and we continue to do so.

In October 2010 we hosted a Pink Day with proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 10% of the sales for the day went to BCRF along with proceeds from a homemade quilt that we raffled.  Several businesses donated time and product to help make the day a success; including Tea Leaves & Thyme, It’s a Grind, and Cherokee Rhythm and Smooth.

In April 2011, customers donated their time  while we supplied the plants to create  75 indoor containers to be donated to two local assisted living complexes.

That same year we also sponsored and constructed a garden vista for the Sharptop Arts Association in Jasper complete with a stone patio for relaxing.

In September 2011 our employees chose to raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project. Again, 10% of the day’s sales along with proceeds collected selling raffle tickets for a homemade quilt was donated to the WWP.  Again Tea Leaves & Thyme and It’s a Grind stepped up to help.
